ISSF: Strong progress for Atlantic Ocean tuna fisheries

The conclusion of the annual meeting of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT), this year held in Limassol, Cyprus, brought strong progress for Atlantic Ocean tuna fisheries, according to the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF), with the NGO stating that it is especially pleased the Commission adopted an updated tropical tuna management measure, as well as a management procedure for western Atlantic skipjack tuna.
