Icelandic company 3X-Stal has focused on effectiveness and reliability when providing turnkey solutions on fish handling tubs for the seafood industry.
One of the companies major projects last year was to instal a tub handling system at Utgerdarfelag Akureyringa, one of the largest processors in Iceland.
The tub handling system takes in tubs of fish in a stack of four tubs and the dispenser delivers one tub at a time into a tub lifting tipper. The fish is then taken through an ice separator onto two heading machines and then through a washing line.
The tub dispenser itself is a new product developed by 3X Stal. It can take tub stacks, up to four high and distribute one tub into a tub tipper.
