The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division has expanded its market development team with the addition of Tim Hogan as BAP’s market development manager, representing the west coast of North America.
Mr Hogan has more than 20 years of food manufacturing and retail experience, especially on the supply side with bakery, meat and seafood. Most recently, he acted as regional sales director for a leading US-based seafood importer. Previously, he served as director-national accounts for a leading US-based meat supplier. Mr Hogan also spent a number of years working at Sara Lee Corp.
“We are delighted to have Tim on the team and think he will add immediate value. Tim brings a great skill set to us. He understands and personally identifies with GAA’s role of advocacy and education along with a deep personal connection to improving the role and image of aquaculture,” said Peter Redmond, BAP’s VP of market development.
Mr Hogan will be part of BAP’s marketing development team and report to Mr Redmond.
