Shipping companies Havstrand and Havbryn of Ålesund in Norway have signed a contract with a Turkish shipyard to build two trawlers to be delivered in 2012 and 2013.
The trawlers will be equipped with DSI plate freezers - eight V16 32/100 and eight V3 32/100 respectively. The V16 will have an automatic unloading system.
Automatic unloading fulfils the shipowner’s wish to build trawlers with low energy consumption and the best conditions obtainable for the workers onboard. The V16 automatic system means high capacity, quick unloading, optimised operation and optimal use of space.
