Pains Wessex has launched its new compact Manoverboard Mark 9.
The MOB is said to have a host of benefits, including a drop height of more than 60m, double the height required by SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) regulations.
Additional advantages mean that the MOB is:
- Smaller – at 375mm
- Lighter – 3.8kg, including the bracket
- Easier to install – just ‘fit and forget’
- Safe to use on oil-covered water
- Mountable to 60m
- Simple to replace individual LED bulbs
The individual LED light pods allow for quick installation and testing and a new retaining clip prevents accidental deployment in rough seas.
The new compact MOB’s single-piece stainless steel bracket means it fits existing installations.
