Mr Steinshylla will take up the role in August, moving from his position as head of business development in Certex Norge, a supplier within lifting, mooring and shipping equipment. Earlier this year the company merged with Erling Haug, where Steinshylla was CEO, and the former head of economy and administration. Certex is one of several European companies in Axel Johnson International’s Lifting Solutions.

“Kristian has more than 25 years of relevant experience within business management and sales, and he has worked for many years towards the Aquaculture- and Seafood industry,” said Arne Birkeland, CEO of Mørenot Group. “His international experience will also be a strength to Our Board of Management in Mørenot. We very much look forward to Kristian being a part of our team already in August.”

Mr Steinshylla added: “Over the past 9 years, I have had the pleasure of managing Erling Haug AS. After managing the Company through the merge with its mother company in the beginning of this year, I felt the timing was right to search for a new challenge.

“Mørenot has everything I have been searching for. The company has high ambitions and is a serious player both within the fishery- and aquaculture industry, and it has got a strong management. They have long traditions and a lot of competence, which makes the company well positioned for further growth.”
