Marel will exhibit at Seafood Processing Global in Brussels

Marel will participate in the annual Seafood Processing Global event in Brussels from 26-28 April 2016.

In light of the recent terrorist attacks in Brussels, a number of companies have announced their withdrawal from the exhibition this year, and it can be expected that fewer visitors will attend than in previous years. However, Marel will not be withdrawing; and has been reassured by measures taken by the Belgian authorities to increase security.

The city authorities of Brussels have announced that there will be additional police and military presence throughout the city centre, the metro, the airport and Brussels Expo where the exhibition takes place. Marel is confident that these exceptional measures will maximise security. Nevertheless Marel shows full understanding if individuals do not wish to travel to Brussels because of recent tragic events.

At this year's Seafood Processing Global, Marel will present a range of new solutions and innovative additions to proven applications. More information about the company’s exhibition presence can be found here.

The event is the world’s largest seafood trade fair with more than 1,700 exhibiting companies from over 75 countries as well as numerous members of the press, government officials and other participants from all over the world. Marel has participated every year since the event began.
