Advanced has continued the development of its All Stainless Seamless Welded Packaged Spiral Freezer program, by launching the new Advanced Hygienic Track Support System (patent pending).
The track support system consists of a plastic (HDPE) wear strip bar that is offset by special holders from the stainless steel rails underneath the spiral belt, therefore, the contact surface between the plastic wear strip and the stainless steel rail is minimised and there is no possibility of pollution or contamination remaining between the wear strip and the rail after cleaning.
With this new system, the company says that the Advanced CIP System will consistently, reliably and automatically achieve an optimum cleaning result. A special shape for the HDPE wear strip has been chosen, to ensure that all pollution and contamination will come off immediately during a wash down cycle. Even the clearance between the tiers using a similar tier pitch can be reduced by using the track support system.
Generally this means that within any given height more tiers can be built in, and the capacity of the Advanced Spiral Cooler (OPTICOOLTM) or Spiral Freezer (OPTIFREEZETM) can be increased.
