Sævareid Fiskeanlegg AS has awarded a significant smolt facility contract to Artec Aqua AS, a fully-owned subsidiary of Endúr ASA.

Artec Aqua will serve as turnkey supplier for the development of a new smolt production facility in Sævareid, Norway. The facility is designed to achieve a production capacity of 29 million smolt, providing a substantial enhancement to Sævareid’s operational capacities.
As per the terms of the contract, Artec Aqua will immediately enter into the facility’s detailed design phase. This phase is scheduled to be finished in the second quarter of 2025.
Following the completion of this phase and contingent upon Sævareid’s final investment decision (FID), Artec Aqua will oversee the construction, management and commissioning of the entire facility.
The facility will be equipped with Artec Aqua’s hybrid flow-through technology.
Prior to the award, Artec Aqua has collaborated closely with Sævareid on the conceptual design of the facility, ensuring that it will meet the highest standards of innovation and efficiency.

The total value of the contract, including both the phases for detailed design and construction, is in excess of NOK 600 million.
For reporting purposes, Endúr will include the design phase as order intake in the third-quarter of 2024.
