This year’s Nor-Fishing sees the return of the Kingfisher Information Service division of Seafish.

The Kingfisher team are expecting excellent attendance in Trondheim and are hoping for a repeat of the large numbers of fishermen from across Europe, which made the 2010 event such a success.
The main reason for Kingfisher’s visit this year is the continued promotion the FishSAFE Information Project to European fishermen. FLTC Services Limited, who, with the European Fisheries Fund, provides financial support for the project, has committed to continue working with Kingfisher for the foreseeable future. This excellent partnership plays a vital role in ensuring fishermen continue to receive free, accurate and up to date positional information on surface and subsea oil and gas structures.
During the exhibition, fishermen will be able to visit the Kingfisher stand and collect the latest FishSAFE Information (v24) free of charge. Also on the exhibition stand, will be the new FishSAFE Unit, which will once again be displaying the latest data, with the team on hand to demonstrate the features of the unit. With only a small number of FishSAFE Units remaining at the subsidised cost of £529.00, Norfishing 2012 would be an excellent place for fishermen to come and see the new unit for themselves.
