Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway opened the latest edition of the Nor-Fishing exhibition in Trondheim on 23 August 2022.
Queen Sonja told the opening ceremony audience, “I am really delighted to be here again and I do wish every one of you a sucessful and inspirational few days.”
As well as visiting some exhibitors, she and made an appearance at the new children’s event Noedr-Fishing Youth.
Since the first Nor-Fishing show in 1960, the Royal Family has shown its support for the exhibition and its aquaculture sister event, Aqua Nor.
King Olav opened the very first exhibition, while HRH Crown Prince Haakon attended the opening of the last edition of Nor-Fishing that was held in Trondheim Spektrum.
