The Netherlands-based insect-based protein and lipid supplier Protix has appointed Lynn De Proft as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Bringing almost 20 years of international experience in executive roles, De Proft will be responsible for further driving the company’s growth trajectory and its plans for international expansion.

Before joining Protix, De Proft was Chief Procurement Officer for Solvay as well as President of Solvay Energy Services. She holds a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from the Vlerick Business School.
