Following several years of great performance and results, DIS is presenting the DIS Cloud cleaning system and the D-SAN disinfection product to the Norwegian market.
The DIS Cloud system is used both on land and at sea, keeping the level of microbes to a minimum which has led to an increase in number of users over the last few years. The company’s team of researchers and over 50 users have stated that the system delivers top-class results, which is why DIS is launching its products to the Norwegian market.
DIS’ largest customer in Iceland, HB Grandi has installed nine DIS cloud systems and will have installed multiple other systems supplied by DIS by the end of this year. The fishing industry in the Westman Island is also an important group of customers where the landing, processing and production vessels use systems from DIS.
DIS says that D-SAN is the perfect choice when it comes to automatic disinfection in food production, both on land and sea. Produced in the UK, the D-SAN is good to the environment, free of chlorine and sodium hydroxide, has a long term effect and fits well with health, environment and security regulations for (Norwegian HMS) manufactures in the fishing industry.
DIS is also presenting a new and innovative product; the DIS TRUCK system, in cooperation with the Icelandic company Lífæð. The system will be used in Lífæð’s trucks and will prevent cross contamination from production to transport which in return ensures the highest quality of the product to the consumer. DIS also supplies Línuvask DIS, which is a special detergent for longline fishing lines. It removes the smell that scares the fish from the hook and disinfects the line so that if accidents occur the numbers of infections will decrease.
