To fill crates and/or carton boxes with frozen seafood, Innotec Systems has developed ''crate filling stations''. These stations consist of a feeding shaker, weigher and transport unit.

The product can be fed from a hopper mounted directly above the feeding shaker or from a grading sieve.

At the output side of the feeding shaker three pneumatically operated dosing valves are installed for pre- and fine dosing of the product into the crate or carton box.

Underneath the dosing valves of the vibrator a bench scale is integrated into the roller conveyor. The bench scale can be adjusted to the required weight on the operating panel. The weight to be measured can be adjusted from 5-25kg.

An empty crate can be placed onto the first position of the roller conveyor. When the middle position for filling/weighing is free the empty crate can be pushed to this position manually. A pneumatic stopper will hold the crate at the correct position for filling - the crate will be filled to the desired weight, then the filled crate can be pushed manually to the left position on the roller conveyor.

The weigh roller conveyor can be adapted to the customer's needs. For example, it can be equipped with adjustable crate/box guidance for filling different size crates and boxes. A pusher with extra roller conveyor for further transport is also an additional option.
