The current rate of fish consumption is on track to deplete wild fish stocks within the next century, according to the Global Exchange.

With 30% of the world’s fisheries currently over-fished, UK chains have been working on growing awareness around sustainable fishing practises within Europe.
Offering customers fish from sustainable sources as well as information about what fish they should be eating.

PPS have been suppliers of sustainable fish crates to the European fishing market for a number of years. It’s has launched re-fresh boxes and supplied them to a number of regions throughout Europe.
The sustainable service aims to ensure that the fish that is caught is transported safely from the hook to the plate, reducing product damage and food wastage.
