At the end of 2010, six Dutch fish processing companies chose Aucxis to supply them with an extensive ERP package: P-Fish.
P-Fish is an ERP package that supports all processes within a fish processing company. It is being developed for six fish processing companies - Rodé Group, Dayseaday Fresh & Frozen, Neerlandia, Gebroeders Hakvoort, Quick Frozen and Gebroeders Kooy. The product is a pragmatic and tailor-made offer, which focuses both on sector standardisation and the individual approach of each company.
By 1 July 2011, the first phase will be completed at pilot company Rodé Vis in Urk. At that point, the P-Fish package will provide all of basic needs of the salmon processing company and will support EDI communication towards its customers.
The implementation of the complete package is scheduled for the end of 2011. In the course of 2011 some of the other companies will start to work with P-Fish as well.
ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning; consequently, an ERP package should support all processes within a company. For P-Fish this means that, apart from the standard buying, sales, stock management and production modules, also production forecast, planning, forward and backward cost calculation and invoicing modules will be available. These will be supported by the required management tools, reports and extensive traceability features. P-Fish will also provide each company with a comprehensive digital information and message system, for both internal and intercompany use. It will also be possible to directly inject and process purchases and transactions from the fish auctions.
Offering E-Catch (the electronic logbook onboard vessels), A-Fish (Aucxis’ electronic sales system and administration package for complete auction automation) and P-Fish, Aucxis technology now supports the entire chain.
In the future, Aucxis RFID products will also allow users to track and trace fish and fish cases throughout the chain so that optimal traceability is achieved.
