Featuring a pair of models – the 2t ee and 5t ee – the range is made from titanium and integrates seamlessly with various mechanical fixings including shackles, hooks and pins.

“Through extensive R&D and rigorous testing in the boating and fitness industry by our partner, Cyclops Marine, the smartlinkEE load sensors have been adapted to handle the demanding conditions of aquaculture operations,” said RS Aqua.

“Whether for continuous crane operations or standing moorings, these sensors deliver precise load measurements, helping to prevent overloading and ensuring the safety of personnel, livestock and equipment.”

Data provided by the sensors can be used to enhance operational safety, reduce the risk of equipment failure and optimise overall farm efficiency, says the company.

The sensors are paired with a free app and data can also be streamed to third party displays, transformed into graphs or monitored remotely from desktops.

“Our new smartlinkEE range is a game changer for the aquaculture industry,” said Ryan Mowat, director of innovation at RS Aqua.

“These sensors meet the specific needs of aquaculture loading operations by being durable, reliable and easy to use.

“With the ability to monitor dynamic loads and environmental conditions, our load sensors provide a level of safety and operational insight that was previously unattainable.”
