US based Anchor Concepts has reported a strong interest in its Hydro Bubble anchor.
The anchor, which has a unique action of always landing upright whatever position it is launched from, is specifically designed to set faster than other anchors, according to the company.
The Hydro Bubble also does not have to be dragged along the seabed as part of the setting process.
This in turn means there is less pressure on the fishing net, especially if it is full when there is a chance of damaging the fish.
The dig in action into the seabed is more severe, according to Adrian Willis of Anchor Concepts, speaking at the Fish Expo Seattle Exhibition last month.
This, he says, and the other benefits of the system will improve productivity. It can also be dismantled quickly for easy storage in even the smallest of fishing vessels.
The Hydro Bubble is powder coated in high tensile aluminium and stainless steel, nickel or galvanised steel and is available in blue, white or black.
The company also offers a range of other anchors including the WorkBoat Pro anchors.
They are designed to be self-launching and compatible with most anchor launches currently on the market.
