Over £560,000 has been granted to the English fishing industry from the European Fisheries Fund (EFF) and the Marine Management Organisation in the last five months.
A total of around £264,000 was also awarded to processing companies through Axis 2, of the scheme, including towards four projects in Devon and two in Grimsby.
