The new vessel, which will be built for Karstensens Skibsvaerft AS, will measure 69.95m long and 15.0m wide when completed. It will be a sister ship of seiner Haugagut (B-691) launched in August 2014. Delivery is planned for August 2016.

Similar to other units of the same type, the new seiner will be equipped with tanks for transporting live fish and modern electronic fishing solutions.

It will also be equipped with a main propulsion diesel engine and modern technical solutions and electronic fishing policy. Individual to this vessel a azimuth thruster will be fitted that was not installed to the previous units in the series.

For Nauta, it is the ninth order from Karstensens Skibsvaerft AS. Last month Nauta delivered three similar ships to the same company and a further three units are also under construction.
