"The End of the Line" is coming to UK cinema screens on World Oceans Day - 8 June.

Based on the book of the same name by Charles Clover, it is the world's first major documentary film about the devastating impact that overfishing is having on our oceans.

The film dramatically exposes the impacts of fishing on marine life, the plight of species such as bluefin tuna, and the profound implications of a future world with no fish. But a key message from the film is that actions individuals can take will help bring change.

The film is a wake up call to us all, reinforcing MCS's message that now is the time to act. By involving individuals though the Marine Conservation Society (MSC)'s free pocket Good Fish Guide, featured in the film, advising industry on best practice and influencing Government to make much needed policy change, the organisation says it feels it is possible to prevent this from being the end of the line.
