IceCom ehf. was founded in 1997, specialising in total computer networking, internal security and communication solutions.
From its home base in Garðabær the company services both foreign and Icelandic companies and institutions.
In time, IceCom added hardware to its software security and now offers a wide range of external security solutions.
IceCom offers a line of security related material from the Brady Corporation which manufactures and supplies complete solutions that identify and protect premises, products and people. These products help customers increase safety, security, productivity and performance.
Products include high-performance labels and signs, various safety devices such as lock systems, printing systems and software, spill control and precision die-cut materials. Founded in 1914, the Brady Corporation has more than one million customers in electronics, telecommunications, manufacturing, electrical, construction, mass transit, education, medical and a variety of other industries.
IceCom also offers a line of fiberglass mobile scaffold towers from LEADER - a line known for durability, ease of use and security. These scaffolds are non-conductive, non-oxidising and non-corrosive with extra building flexibility and high raise stability. Similar high rigidity fiber ladders of all shapes and sizes are also available at IceCom.
The company also offers high tech industrial online monitoring systems for internal and external security, productivity, performance and quality analysis.
