New UK company Colt Cranes say the fact that its cranes are re-, will bring the price down for vessel owners.
Created in December 2001, Colt Cranes has been importing 8.25 tonne metric telescopic cranes with CE mark and class approval from the US and re-manufacturing them ready for the fishing market. The cranes, which can be used on-board or on shore,are versatile and compact according to Colt Cranes, and have the ability to lift 1.5 tonnes at 5.5m and slew through 370 degrees. The crane is equipped with a powerful winch, which the company says helps maximising use in a variety of situations.
