Patrick White

Patrick White is a specialist in fish hatchery and fish production systems, Climate Change impacts on aquaculture and the impact of aquaculture on the environment. He has over 40 years of experience in the aquaculture sector and has worked in Africa, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and most often in South-East Asia (Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia). He has worked in Government research as well as the commercial fish farming sector. He has undertaken projects for FAO, World Bank, European Union, African Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UNDP, Norad, Danida, etc. He has facilitated cage farm study tour for 3 groups of South East Asian cage farming stakeholders to Turkey, Norway and Malta which were sponsored by USSEC.
