Operating for over 30 years from two depots, Marine & Industrial Transmissions Ltd (M.I.T.) has built up two large facilities stocking components for twin disc marine gears, Mekanord CPP systems, industrial products, electronic controls, Arneson, Water Jets, Transfluid power take off’s and fluid couplings, and spares and units for many other leading transmission manufacturers including ZF, Clark, Allison etc.
All of the company's separate departments have amassed vast experience in advising and solving drive line and propulsion systems. Service staff are equipped to undertake work in either the company's workshops or in worldwide field service.
Whatever the application, whatever the product, M.I.T. claims that a member of the team is likely to have knowledge of the product and has attended training courses. M.I.T. also claims that its stores are likely to have the components to allow the customer or M.I.T. to expedite repairs.
Working with the sales and application teams, M.I.T. says that it will ensure that the installation or repair is correct for the customer's specific application both technically and with value for money.
