Swiss company Oleosea''s VitalSea omega-3 supplements have obtained from Friend of the Sea sustainability certification.
Vitalsea is an omega-3 krill oil supplement manufactured by Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc.
Neptune obtained the FOS certification by complying with strict krill sustainability criteria, which ensure that the stock is not overfished, the fishery is in compliance with the management measures, that there is no bycatch of endangered species and there is no adverse impact on the ecosystem or seabed.
