Nesco Weighing Ltd has just released a new version of its Wavecheetah II touch screen marine weighing system, and supplied the first units to companies in Scotland and Ireland
The new Pelagic version has been developed with the help of a number of Scottish pelagic fishing companies, in order for it to fully include all the facilities features and reports they needed.
The Wavecheetah II accurately grades and records the catch through sample weighing and counting and correlates the grades into totals by weight, number, and specific holding tanks.
Reports are then available by a number of specific headings such as, total weight by grades, average of each grade, number of each grade total weight by individual haul and trip as well as a matrix of all the various headings available.
Reports can be individually designed if required and the generation of information to the e-log comes as standard.
Wavecheetah II has an internal web server for transmitting and receipt of data, so that the information on the Wavecheetah II can be seen in real time by the skipper in the wheel house, or even by the office ashore. It also features all of the other usual communications systems for the sending of data to PCs or printers.
