At WFE, JasVisio will be introducing the innovative in-line can seam inspector.
The CanInspector controls the can seam quality for each can produced. A state-of-the-art machine vision system, comprising six synchronised cameras, is responsible for controlling in-line the can seam; in other words, it controls real time 100% production, without altering the production rate.
The can seam is inspected at a speed of up to 600 cans/min and can detect the smallest faults, such as lips and burrs, drooping seams, dents, false seams, incomplete seam, damaged edges or knocked rims. It is also compatible with any can format, whether it is round, rectangular or oval, and also any material, such as bras or aluminium.
At WFE JasVisio will also be demonstrating its experience in machine vision systems and robotics, focusing on fish processing and packaging.
