It says it is the first isothermic tank, roto-molded and manufactured in food-grade polyethylene, specifically designed for liquid ice ºstorage and orders were taken at the Brussels international seafood show in May. It comes as set of modules allowing different storage capacities easy on-site assembly. The systems also has multiple sockets and connections for tubes and control levels. It allows motorised connection of coupling equipment, it has eye-level inspection hatches in transparent polycarbonate and also easy-to-see level optics.
Besides being ideal for frozen fish storage, Plástico says the LISMOT can find a home in other sectors requiring maintenance of ideal temperatures, such as the dairy industry, in wine cellars and for beverage and juice manufacturers.
Icebox is part of Iceland’s Saeplast Hef, with plants in Norway, Canada, Spain, India, Holland and Iceland. The high level of each tank’s insulation means good maintenance of the ice/water mixture over long periods of time.
