The NC-42 can interface with the CommandViewâ„¢ wireless network server to integrate, display and record data from other onboard sensors including GPS, trawl monitoring sensors, etc. All data can be recorded to hard disk for replay and analysis.
Oskar Axelsson, Marport md, says the compact and rugged system is easy to install and operate and is good deep-water and bottom trawlers.
Compatibility with colour net recorders from other manufacturers will cuts costs significantly, he says especially when retrofitting or replacing lost or damaged sensors.
The NC-42 works to a maximum, headrope-transmitter depth of 2,500m and data reception of 4,000m at 33 KHz. Battery life is up to 72 hours
