Organiser of the event,
the Nor-Fishing Foundation say the event has already attracted a lot of support from exhibitors and visitors alike who will get to see important talks given by top level officials at the event as well as Aqua-Nor.
The Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs of Norway Helga Pedersen said: “Nor-Fishing 2006 in the city of Trondheim is an important event, which puts Norway on the international fisheries map. Norway must confirm her position, and therefore, it means a lot to us that we can organise the greatest fisheries trade show in the world.”
She added: “Nor-Fishing is also an arena where municipal and regional local governments and national and international port authorities represent the business sector affiliated with the fisheries industry.”
Nor-Fishing 2006 will be held in Trondheim, Norway between August 8-11.
