Made by nature

It is well sheltered from outer seas and ice-free all year round, with a wide and clean entrance. In the Port, fishing vessels, boats and trawlers, discharge their catch, bunker up with fuel, complete repairs, load their fishing gear and provisions and fulfil all other needs.

The Port of Hafnarfjörður features cold and freezing stores, all kinds of repair facilities and two floating docks. From the Port, goods are transported to the whole world.

The Port enjoys 1,800m quays with a draft down from 6.5 to 12m and a bustling marina for up to 120 small fishing and leisure boats.
