Lithuanian fishing company Baltlanta has a fleet of 12 freezer trawlers, five transport refrigerated vessels and an oil tanker, and is one of the most important Baltic fishing companies.

The company's main fishing species are sardine, horse mackerel, mackerel and hake. They also produce fish flour and oil fish.
The fleet, in accordance with international rules EURO-1, has been the subject of a detailed study of modernisation. Elements included in the study included processing freezer plants, electronics and deck fishing machinery.
IBERCISA, along with its Russian agent, has been working on the definition, project development, manufacture and supply of the main trawl winches, and for the other vessels, net drums, gilsons, and net sounders.
The main trawl winches are split type, electrically driven operated by a frequency converter, controlled by an automatic trawl system with possibility of power regeneration during the net paying out.
Following the delivery programme, the equipment was delivered to four vessels last year and delivery for another four is due to take place this year.
