The Australian Fisheries Management Authority''s (AFMA) online business facility, GOFish, is due to go live on 21 September. GOFish will enable concession holders and their authorised agents to conduct most of their licensing business with AFMA online, and at a reduced cost.

GOFish goes live on 21 September

AFMA claims it will have the added benefit of allowing concession holders to not only view their quota position, but trade quota to other concession holders. Registration packs with application forms are currently being distributed to all existing Commonwealth fishery concession holders, and will also available on AFMA's website.

To use GOFish, registration forms need to be completed to receive a user ID and secure password via email. AFMA's existing online application, Quotaview, will cease operation and be replaced by the GOFish service - this means that all current Quotaview users will need to register for GOFish to continue to access information.
