The latest addition to Fomaco’s range of M3.s injectors is the BLP needle head.
The BLP needle head has been specifically designed for very high volume and injection levels of all boneless low profile products, such as cod and salmon fillets.
The company says that the flexibility, reliability and accuracy enable the customer to achieve impressive throughput rates and at the same time meet the demand for low and high injection levels.
The unique pump to-pipe needle head, with up to 1872 needles, ensures an impressive throughput volume and a consistent injection level.
Unlike the manifold system, the BLP M3.s needle head is constructed as a pump-to-pipe system, where the brine flow system is thoroughly optimised and the risk of sediment build-up is eliminated. The whole assembly is easily dismantled and removed from the injector in a matter of minutes. The high performance centrifugal pump gives a constant brine pressure, regardless of the number of needles in the product, ensuring uniform distribution of brine, regardless of product size.
The BLP needle head technology has already achieved impressive production results in the fish industry both in terms of capacities and in terms of end yields as well, says Fomaco.
