Kaldara Group proudly introduces Coolerboxes, a groundbreaking line of reusable, insulated, and recyclable fish boxes aimed at the fish farming and seafood industries. This sustainable packaging aligns with global efforts to reduce single-use materials.
The Coolerboxes will help meet future regulatory requirements, such as a 30% reduction in single-use packaging by 2030 and 70% by 2040, offering both environmental and cost-saving benefits. Currently, over 90% of fresh fish, particularly salmon and fillets, are exported in Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) packaging. As EPS becomes less viable, alternatives like Coolerboxes will be essential.
Extensive research and development by Kaldara Group have resulted in a durable packaging solution that can be used for several years, making it a cost-effective and eco-friendly choice. These boxes are trackable from catch to consumer, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
Later this year, Kaldara Group will also launch Coolertubs, a 460-liter, fully recyclable, polyethylene-foam insulated fish tub. Lightweight with superior insulation, it promises even greater efficiency.
