The DanFish International fishing exhibition will be taking place in Aalborg on October 9 - 11 2002.
Last month organisers said that more than a year before the opening, approximately 60% of the exhibition area has been sold or reserved. The exhibition area totals 8,500 square metres.
Denmark's Scandinavian and Nordic neighbours will all present the best of their technology in national pavilions. The DanFish organizer and the Royal Netherlands Embassy are joining forces in gathering Dutch companies into a national group and an Italian agent is organizing groups from Italy. On the list of individual exhibitors almost every fishing nation of Europe is represented.
DanFish International is firmly anchored in the Danish fishing industry. Danish companies have a wealth of experience in developing fishing equipment and they are known to quickly spot trends and react. Big or small, they will all be in Aalborg in 2003.
DanFish International 2001 was a record breaker. The total number of visitors reached 27,962 and with guests from 40 countries the international visitors share amounted to 23%. Also in 2003 there will be a special programme for foreign delegations.
