Dybvad Stål Industri (DSI) has announced that a new freezer for on-time continuous processing is now available, for both onshore and offshore freezing.
The unique design has been developed for stand-alone and in-line process freezing, and offers an instant freezing capability that prevents drip loss from the products and helps increase food quality.
The company says that the DSI Continuous Horizontal Process Freezer has been developed in the same high quality as all other DSI products, and also says that it has been priced to pave the way for instant success.
It is made with a heavy duty hot-dip galvanised steel frame and hydraulic rams that ensure a stable and even plate pressure.
The freezer comes with an automatic loading and unloading device manufactured by specialist Erlinord Machinery, saving manpower and making working conditions better.
The new freezer is ideal for freezing packed products in trays or cartons. It has element surface structures that prevent dents and marks in the packaging.
DSI also says that it’s easy to maintain and clean.
The motors and cylinders are hydraulic, and the hydraulic pump with manoeuvre valves come with the freezer. Continuous freezing means that only one station is open when loading and unloading, and double contact freezing is a fast and economic way of freezing.
