As trends in food packaging come and go, retailers are constantly trying to set themselves apart from competition by creating new packaging concepts.
SEALPAC says it has already supplied numerous solutions to the seafood industry, but the options are unlimited, for example, the company’s clickable tray packaging concept, which was developed for a European producer of ready-meals.
The concept means that customers are able to assemble their own ready-meals or snacks at point-of-sale and can buy their meals for one week in separate portion-packs, which can be consumed at different times whilst staying fresh during the week.
As customers take less time visiting a supermarket, buying on impulse is gaining importance. With the clickable tray, SEALPAC says that customers are guaranteed striking product presentation, which can be improved even more by using SEALPAC’s unique ‘InsideCut’ technology.
