Triplex AS has been selected as supplier of deck equipment for the new Multipurpose Research Vessel that will be built by ASMAR for the Chilean Navy (for more information see http://www.worldfishing.net/product_library/product_library.ehtml?o=2158).
The NOK7m package, which includes three deck cranes, davits, guide pins, oceanographic frames and hydraulic power packs, will be delivered in the second quarter of 2009.
The content of the package is almost identical to the company's delivery to the Irish research vessel Celtic Explorer back in 2002.
