Daconet launch new gill net
The Danish gill net supplier DACONET A/S with branches in Skive and Thisted has launched a huge novelty within the gill net fishery with trammel nets – called DACO-TYPE.
Trammel nets with prefabricated wall meshes have been known in the fishery during a long period, but DACONET A/S has now developed a new type on which the inner and the walls are joint without using twine, tape or others that can “catch”.
The result of this is movable wall meshes which will not be drawn out of shape, and as there are no knots for joining inners and walls, there are no joinings which can slip.
At the same time the nets are now as easy to mount as the traditional ones.
