KTR couplings are used in various applications for marine technology:

Bowex-HE: Highly flexible couplings for applications between engine and gear box and compressor.

Rotex: Torsionally flexible couplings with spider for applications in propulsions, compressors, winches and pumps.

Radex: Applications between engine, propeller or waterjet with steel spacer of fibre carbon (CFK).

Gearex: All-steel gear coupling for any high torque application (propulsion, cranes, etc).

Hydraulic Component: Bellhousing, couplings, steel tanks, damp elements, fans and other hydraulic components.

Clampex: Clamping elements between shaft and drum applications in main-helms, cranes, etc.

All KTR couplings are either accompanied by an inspection certificate 3.1 or 3.2 in accordance to DIN EN 10204. Inspection certificate 3.2 is necessary for drives exceeding 375kW and for manoeuvring drives. In order to stay ahead of the competition in global shipping, ships and their technology have to correspond to a number of international standards. All KTR couplings are type-approved and certified in accordance with the strict standards of Germanischer Lloyd (GL), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Det Norske Veritas and Bureau Veritas. Moreover, KTR has been certified to DIN ISO 9001 since 1993 and also has ISO 14001.
