Grupo Ersil has been appointed as Trimara’s agent for the AutoBoss net washing robot in the Chilean market.

This new deal expands AutoBoss’s reach which already includes fin fish farms in Canada, USA, Scotland, Norway, New Zealand and Greece.
Stewart Hawthorn, director of Trimara Services, called the AutoBoss a ‘fantastic machine’. “It is designed to be reliable, user-friendly and independent,” he said.
Included in the purchase of an AutoBoss is a commissioning and training package ensuring that operators and local mechanics are trained in daily operations as well as routine servicing. Ersil will provide these services in Chile as well as sales and marketing back-up.
That automated nature of the AutoBoss is said to give a perfect wash every time, helping to ensure that biofouling is kept to a minimum. “Farmers require quality solutions that are reliable and easy to use, and that minimise stress on the fish,” said Ricardo Neumann, sales manager of Ersil Automation.
“We are convinced that the AutoBoss is an ideal solution for on-site net washing in Chile,” he added.
Stewart Hawthorn agreed, adding that farms in Chile were perfect for the company’s net washer. “We believe that the fish, the famers and the environment will all benefit from the introduction of the AutoBoss,” he said.
