Stand:4-6043 At SPE 2009, CFS will introduce the new generation CFS OptiFlour®, a flour applicator, which applies coatings ranging from a thin pre-dust to seeded flour types and light to medium crumbs.
It is optimised to deliver more output and longer production runs. All this extra performance comes in a lean machine, which is simple to operate, flexible, easy to clean and available in hydraulic and electrical execution. And still, in combination with the CFS OptiAir, it contributes to a dust-free work environment, unique in the industry.
Dust-free flour applicator
A coating is judged by its pick-up and uniformity. With the CFS OptiFlour® the pick-up (yield) is controlled through a patented flour divider, and adjustable top and bottom coating supply. The integrated lump remover ensures that lumps and other contaminants never reach the product. Thanks to its innovative belt-drive system, the CFS OptiFlour® runs perfectly with dry seasonings, fine pre-dust flour, fine- and medium crumbs and sticky, seeded flours. The closed construction of the new generation CFS OptiFlour® minimises dust production. It is possible to connect the machine to a factory’s existing blower and exhaust system. The patented combination with the CFS OptiAir, puts an end to the inconveniences of flour such as blocked blower pipes and cleaning the room after production.
Simplicity and flexibility
The new generation CFS OptiFlour® is very easy to operate. All process settings can be adjusted from outside the machine, even during production, with a direct view into the hopper. The control panel, featuring speed read-out, is placed at ergonomic height.
Attention has been paid to accessibility, for example the blower pipes are easy to reach for inspection and cleaning in the cleaning position, there are no loose parts and the infeed is made accessible.
