Danish factory deck specialist Carsoe has acquired 43% of the shares of its Norwegian supplier Holmek Palletering AS.
“By acquiring a minority stake in Holmek, we hope to even better control our supply chain within palletizing solutions in particular regarding technical issues and future development,” commented Carsoe’s managing director Mikkel Jacobsen.
“Except for some changes in the board of management which I will join, the daily business at Holmek and Carsoe won’t be affected.”
The agreement was signed on 11th September, with Carsoe acquiring 43% of the shares in Holmek Palletering AS, based at Kristiansund in Norway.
Holmek supplies palletising systems and is colsely involved in the supply of Carsoe’s technical solutions for a series of trawler orders at Carsoe.
The two companies together have already delivered some excellent solutions with very positive response from customers.
