SPECK Pumpen active on the aquaculture market for the first time.

The response in Trondheim was consistently positive. SPECK Pumpen aroused curiosity: pumps in which all parts that come into contact with the medium are made of plastic were largely unknown on this market until now.

“We were able to make promising contacts and collect a lot of technical input,” says BADU Sales Manager Christoph Ott, summing up the success of the first aquaculture trade fair. He and his team mainly welcomed plant constructors, but also operators from over 20 countries. The competitors were not as well represented at the Aqua Nor as expected and to some extent exhibited their products in smaller stands.

The trade fair team came away with some enquiries as well as the motivation to continue working hard in the aquaculture sector. “We now know that our products are mainly suitable for closed circuit systems, so-called RAS (recirculating aquaculture systems), and that they cover smaller plant requirements in particular. For larger plants, we have to increase our delivery volume to 1,000 m³/h and more”. Even more than before, we are convinced that further investments will pay off. The planning phase already began in Norway.
