Baader is pleased to announce its sizing, batching and weighing programme to the world fishing industry.

The Baader 1900 Sizing and Batching Machine, the Baader 1902 Carton Weigher and Reject Station and the Baader 1914 Checkweigher make up this line of equipment.

The Baader sizing program has already had proven success with the placement of over 25 units globally. The benefits of these products, according to Baader, are that they provide a low cost of ownership and reduced downtime; tremendous versatility and control; they are designed with emphasis on sanitation and provide sophisticated performance in a simplified machine.

The low cost of ownership and reduced downtime is exemplified by a number of things including:

• No mechanical moving parts on the weigh deck

• No bearings to change or maintain

• Many major components, such as the modular direct-drive ejector assembly, are virtually maintenance-free and easy to change 'on the fly' (no mechanical linkage under the belt)

• The durable plastic belts are easy to change and tracking is never an issue

• Long lasting drum motors drive the belting (no gearboxes, chains, sprockets or motor covers)

• Many common components are accessible from local suppliers

• Ejector assemblies can be rebuilt

• Modular assemblies reduce the need to stock individual components

• No annual software maintenance fees
