Together with their partners, the ASC runs an ambitious programme to transform the world’s seafood markets and promote the best environmental and social aquaculture performance.

The ASC is striving for a world where aquaculture plays a major role in supplying food and social benefits for mankind whilst minimising negative impacts on the environment. They want to transform aquaculture towards environmental sustainability and social responsibility using efficient market mechanisms that create value across the chain.

Peter Webster, general manager, Hilton Singapore has commented that “There is an urgency to protect the oceans from unsustainable fishing practices, and this is a shared responsibility. Collectively the hospitality industry has significant potential to raise consumer awareness, and advance responsible business operations at large – including the sourcing of sustainable seafood.”

The conference dinner will take place on 15 May 2018 and is included in the standard registration fee for the conference. For just US$ 795 delegates can benefit from 2 days of presentations, a place at the gala dinner, two coffee breaks and lunch on conference days, a place on a choice of two technical visits and full documentation in electronic format.
