Argentine company celebrates 50 years
For three generations, FrigorÃfico Sudeste SA has offered a variety of products and services for the packaging, freezing, and exporting of added-value seafood products and is celebrating 50 years of business.
Located in the seaside city of Mar del Plata, the plant’s 20,000 m3 facilities have 30 cold-storage rooms including a 1600 m2 area specially adapted for processing and packaging. Species with high-commercial value are frozen in six tunnels at a processing rate of 35 tonnes per work day and three contact freezers at a rate of over one tonne per hour, with a total storage capacity of 3000 tonnes.
Over 100 employees carry out production under the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) HACCP standards and strict CEE regulations to ensure top quality produce.
