Established in 1825, Oliveira SA is the oldest Portuguese ropemaker, producing both steel wire ropes and synthetic ropes. Oliveira Sá is the only producer of steel wire ropes in Portugal, detaining a major quote of the world market for fishing.

In the synthetic fibre ropes market, is one of the biggest Portuguese producers, with a great competitive advantage by producing to very specific and know-how demanding markets such as the offshore.
